Lauren Cunniff
Board Member
Originally from Maine, Lauren and her husband Mike moved from Boston to Incline Village in 2012 shortly after getting married. They started their family in Tahoe and have planted their roots in this idyllic community to raise their three young children.
Married into a family passionate about skiing, Lauren has prioritized introducing her children to skiing at a young age. Having grown up hours away from the nearest ski resort, she appreciates the unique opportunity that Diamond Peak and DPST provide. The ski team has not only developed her children's skiing abilities and self-assurance but has also instilled the values of teamwork within an individual sport. Their eldest son, Cole, embarked on his ski team journey in 2022 and now thrives on the U10 Alpine team, while Jack joined the Shooting Stars in 2023, and the youngest, Kate, eagerly anticipates her future on the team.
Lauren earned MBA in Finance and started her career in Marketing in Boston. She brings over 15 years of experience as a Marketing Executive leading teams dedicated on customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty. Joining the Volunteer Board in early 2024, Lauren assumed the role of Chair of the Fundraising Committee, focusing on crafting fundraising events essential for bolstering DPSEF's financial support and advancing its mission.
When not dedicated to DPSEF initiatives, Lauren enjoys exploring all that Tahoe has to offer with her kids, planning their next camping adventure, and squeezing in some self-care on her Peloton.
